How Do Women's Circles Work?

Women's circles are nothing new - women have been gathering in circles for millennia. My intention is to hold a space for you in circle that is safe, inclusive and inviting. A space to come together as sisters to support and lift each other – AKA we'll have a good chinwag and a lot of laughs while discussing 'secret women's business.

But, I run a modern-day women's circle on the central Coast, which means no crystals or incense but may or may not include some cheese and wine! Your circle will always involve sharing and culminate with handy tips and tools for you to takeaway.

Topics covered include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • How to achieve balance in life: Whether it's work and family, career and self-care or running a business and life.
  • Vision, values and intention setting.
  • Setting boundaries to protect your energy - overcome decision fatigue, to-do list overwhelms and procrastination
  • Defining your own version of success metrics by compassionately gaining perspective and quitting comparison
  • Finding your voice

When women gather ♀

We raise each other up.

We share space to laugh, cry, be seen and heard.

We feel empowered.

We inspire. We get inspired.

We learn that we are not alone.

We champion each other.

We are liberated.

We celebrate the divine feminine.

We collaborate.

We focus on a heart centred approach.

We generate ideas.

We stop comparing.

We hold each other.

We learn.

We tune into our intuition.

We are together in circle and together we rise.

It's a special and sacred space.

What Happens at a Slow Coaching Co. Retreat?

As a mindfulness  life coach, my focus is on helping you connect back to your true self and step away from being stressed, busy and burnt out. My main intention with the retreats here on the Central Coast is that I hold and create a  truly welcoming and safe space for you. A space where you feel comfortable to share and engage, to be your true, honest self, free from the conditioning expectations that you can feel weighed down by. I aim to create a space for you to transform, shift and get curious as you learn and connect with others.

I carefully select like-minded soul teachers and lightworkers to collaborate with, where our outcome is to complement each other's experience, skills and superpowers to deliver you unforgettable retreat experiences. The majority of the retreats I facilitate are local and can be attended right here on the Central Coast.

My vision is to share the wellness practices that have enriched my life so that you can easily care for and prioritise your mental wellbeing. I view retreats as an act of self-love and care, I have always experienced a transformation of some sort and made divine connections as I've journeyed on various retreats throughout my lifetime. My wish is that I can impart and share with you a similar experience.

Retreat themes vary from how to reach your highest potential, to protecting your energy by setting boundaries, to simpler ideas like "nurture", "awaken" or "flow", to cleansing breathwork and mindfulness. Ultimately, there are no boundaries when it comes to what theme a retreat with Slow Coaching Co. might take on. Often themes will arise from attendees desires and needs.

Tailor Made Group Coaching Sessions

As a mindfulness life coach on the Central Coast, my vision is to make investing in mental well-being as commonplace as how we invest in our physical health and appearance. By sharing my life-enriching wellness practices with others, I hope to make it easy for leaders, businesses and organisation and teams to adopt a different and kinder way of thinking and operating. Working as a coach and people leader throughout my career, I have experienced first-hand the stress of managing teams when they do not feel valued, seen and when work-life balance is not prioritised.

Hours lost trying to come up with ways to engage, help and inspire my teams impacted my ability to lead and focus on the indicators that were being measured. By inviting in an expert such as myself, a mindfulness coach, it makes prioritising the wellbeing of your team easy. Offering group coaching or a workplace wellness session to your group or team shows that you support them in feeling more comfortable to be able to address any stresses felt either at work or personally in a more open and productive way.

Group coaching can include:

  • workplace wellness sessions
  • team building exercises
  • yoga and mindfulness for groups
  • tailor made sessions based on your needs.

Workplace Wellness for teams on the Central Coast

  • Does the sound of a more productive and happier team sound appealing?
  • Would your team benefit from having more balance in their day?
  • Do you care about the mental well-being of your team?

As a life coach, teacher of yoga and wellness expert, my aim is to work in partnership with you to cultivate a workplace and environment that enables your team to feel valued and for your team to thrive in.

With over 11 years of experience as a people leader, I led multiple successful and profitable retail sales teams as well as multi-team regions with over 100 team members. I always considered it my responsibility as a leader to create a safe and nurturing environment for my teams and my team leaders. I strived to create an environment where my teams felt valued and were able to show up as the best versions of themselves each and every day. The wellbeing of my people was always a priority; as goes the old adage of ‘happy staff = happy customers’. A philosophy followed by many a respectable and successful business leader.

I believe that a team member is more comfortable, open and happier when they are encouraged to prioritise their personal lives, their family, their mental wellbeing and have balance in life. When teams feel obliged to put the profits of the organisation at the centre of their universe, this can lead to team members feeling like a number rather than human, leading to a decrease in performance and productivity. This results in team members not giving their best.

As a proficient and accomplished facilitator, my leadership philosophies, experience and results complement my coaching and wellness teachings to deliver workplace wellness sessions that will provide your teams with engaging and relevant content. Not only will these sessions enable them to be more productive in the workplace, they will also have a positive impact on their lives in general.
